Leadership

Apostolic Leader Mike Fryer and Pastor Shirley Fryer

Mike is a retired National Crime Squad Detective having retired in November 1998 as a result of a car accident which occurred during a high speed surveillance in Liverpool. Mike served as a C.I.D officer and specialised in Child abuse before moving on to Drug Squad and later The National Crime Squad. Mike has been involved in major investigations including Murder and International Drug Trafficking as well as its production. Mike became a Christian in 1993 and served The Lord in the refugee camps in Bosnia. He married Shirley in 1995 and they planted the Church in January 1999. Since that time God has used Mike's Police Experience to gather and produce evidence about the truth of the terrorism in Israel. He also investigates the extent to which paganism and witchcraft is affecting our communities and Churches in the UK and has written a book called "Craft or Christ" on this subject.

Mike has also studied Christian Antisemitism at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem and presents a day seminar with David Silver of Out of Zion Ministries on this subject. He has also written a seven week course about God's plans and purposes for Israel called "Hidden Treasure" which is being taught throughout the United Kingdom and in Alabama. He is currently writing a second book on the subject of antisemitism within The Church from AD100 to date.

Shirley moved to North Wales in 1995 when she met and married Michael and had two children, Grace and Samuel. She trained as a singer and has led worship most of her Christian life, the extravagant worship of God being her prime focus. As co-pastor with Michael, they have both learned how to lead a church "whilst doing it", as neither had any previous training, but this has been very positive as it has meant learning through serving in the many differing needs and roles in the body of Christ and determining to grow in the process!  Shirley has a desire to see the Captives Set Free! She values prayer ministry highly as it is a proven way for Christians to be released from "baggage" to fulfil their potential and reach their destiny in God. Shirley also teaches in Father's House and co-ordinates events.

Assistant Pastor Heather Clayton

Heather is a teacher and mother of two young children, Rebekah and Jonathan. She is responsible for the ‘Restoring The Foundations’ ministry within the Church and is continually thankful for the amazing grace and mercy God demonstrates in restoring the lives of individuals. She teaches at Father’s House regularly and longs not only for the body of Christ to know unity but also to have love for one another as God loves us. She is married to Matthew, who is the worship director, and they have been living in Wales since 2005. They previously attended St Andrews Church, Chorleywood.

Carole Parry

Carole Parry is married to Morris and they have a son, James. She feels privileged to have been born into a Christian family and to have been taught to love and fear the Lord, yet serve him with a thankful heart, from an early age.

Within the Church, she is an intercessor – praying and fasting regularly for whatever reason the Lord places upon her heart. She recently fasted for three days each week for a period of three years.

The Lord mightily healed Carole some five years ago. She had taken early retirement on medical grounds and was suffering from spondylitis whereby she had a number of fused discs both in her neck and at the base of her spine. Her body was also affected by osteoarthritis and this condition had necessitated steroid injections into the bones and joints of her feet and shoulders. The constant pain made it difficult for her to walk far and she required assistance with even such simple tasks as arising from sitting or lying down. As a result of prayer within the Church, she was completely cured and has no more pain. She praises God and wonderful Jesus for this.

Margaret Buckley

I was called by God to Wales in 1988, and have been privileged to serve Him here in  Father's House since 2001.  When I'm not involved in 'church things', which includes Prayer for Israel, discipling and prayer co-ordination for our 'Mission to Machynlleth', I am busy teaching the piano.

My grandfather, Charles Buckley, was a pioneer Pastor in the early Pentecostal movement, in Chesterfield where I was born. He served his generation for God in a new move of the Holy Spirit, and that really sums up where I too am coming from. I am excited at what the Lord is about to do!
